How to Prepare Documents for Enrollment in Russian Language Courses?

What Documents Are Required?

• Passport – your main document. Make sure it is valid for at least 18 months from the date of entry into Russia.

• Photo – standard size (3.5x4.5 cm), like for a visa.

• Education – you must provide a high school certificate or university diploma.

• Medical Certificate – depends on the requirements of the university and the General Consulate of Russia. Check with your coordinator.

• Insurance – good news! It is already included in the program cost, so you don’t need to worry about it separately.

• Scan all documents in high quality. Blurry or dark images can delay your application, so make sure everything is clear and easy to read.

• Check your data – make sure your name and passport number are written correctly, just like in your passport. Sometimes, there can be differences between documents. For example, the date of birth in your passport might not match the one in your school certificate. If this happens, contact the organization that gave you the document and ask how to fix the problem.

• Originals and copies – you need to keep the original paper documents with you and send scanned copies to your coordinator. Both are important for the admission and visa process. It is also important to bring the original documents with you to Russia, as they are required later when applying to a university for higher education. If you only have scanned copies and not the originals, talk to your Main Education coordinator to find a solution.

• All documents must be submitted to your coordinator in PDF format and as separate files – passport separately, high school certificate separately.
